We'll get a group together, it's a brilliant piece of Melbourne.

Up to 90+ designs seen so far. Some are re-works, of course.

Got a couple of favourites so far, with a couple still being worked on.

Is '99designs' just the name of their site or is each project limited to 99 entries? Definitely a few good ones in there now. Will be tough to decide in the end, but it looks like the logo will provide a good base for the brand :)

Nah, just the name. Besides, I've eliminated a heap :-)

cheers, juice (Canon shooter, Elinchrom lighter, but pretty much agnostic on brands.)

@Mic - for me #46 still looks the most professional, serious and less like my daughter drew a lime :) Maybe just the first J should look more like a "J" than an "I".

Plus 1 on that, although I see the J as an "i".
The best thing is the logo is subtle and will not tire as quick as the others.

The last two products i ordered have gone missing...One was a 1DMK111 via UPS went missing UPS Sydney 3 months later i got my insurance less PAYPAL 3% less postage and an adverse move in currency and now my Sekonic L358 has not shown up via USPS..
I have learned my lesson now....An expensive one at that....

Ok so it's been over three weeks and my Sekonic L358 showed up...Yippee..

+1 on #46 for me Mic, I think it'll out last the others and is just that little bit simplier which will keep it more professional.

Just my 2c.

My L358 is on the way shortly too =]

Side question. . . With the RF602's can I use the remote function and still use it to fire a remote flash too, assuming I have 2 recievers (on on camera, one on flash)? I tried quickly last night, albeit tired and they didn't seem to sync properly.

Interesting,#46 is ok but it looks so much like every other photography logo out there with aperture blades really that I didn't stop on it. If I were going with something like that, I'd probably lean towards the ones that look more like fruit, though so far they remind more of apples or alarm clocks LOL #44 is closest in this category for me, I think, but the inner aperture blades just aren't quite right and I'm not sure that it translates quite as well in black and white & I don't know how the drop shadow will work if you want to use it as a watermark on your photos?

91 doesn't work for me. 92 I kinda like but there's something I just can't put my finger on that doesn't WOW me.

The ones with the little camera I kinda like - a bit more personality than the more traditional ones. And I like 36.

How totally unhelpful was that??

It's morning, it's cold, I'm swamped and running behind and it's only 0640. Fought a migraine all day yesterday so if it wasn't totally urgent, it didn't get dealt with. So another day of trying to do two days in one! Vrrrrooomm here I go!

Sure,

This works fine, as long as you have the minimum 2 transmitters and 2 receivers needed to do this. You use one pair for the camera remote transmitter/receiver and they need to be on a different frequency (flip one switch on both) to the flash pair.

Ahhhh,

I hadn't noticed that you required the second Transmitter, I'll order one today =. So far from the limited chance I've got to use the 602's them seem really good, far better than my V4's. I also decided to add one of those $5 Mini Speedlight Softboxes to my order, the couple of test shots I took suprised me, I really can't wait to have some real modifiers to use.

Greatly appreciated ash.

One hopes. Unfortunately, a couple of the tweaks I asked for overnight haven't happened.

Is your daughter good at drawing? :-)

I like #46 a lot. Not sure if it's the best for me though.

I like that too, but it's a bit complicated, I think.

Agreed on the subtlety.

Yeah, I can't quite get myself to like it as much as a couple of the others.

Can't believe I did something right in terms of the exchange rate. Bizarre.

I've asked for 92 to be redone to get rid of the double J look - ie meld them better.

The ones with the little camera I kinda like - a bit more personality than the more traditional ones. And I like 36.

You mean #21/#81?

#36 has been replaced by #96.

How totally unhelpful was that??

Excellent, thanks :-)
