POTN Aussie Club #8 - Einsteins won't make you smart

A quick question of curiosity, how many people here:
a) shoot full-time professionally (Ie main income job)
b) shoot professionally (second income job)
c) shoot for fun

?

b) Second job at the moment.

a) for me.

But I'll be a) soon, once I've got a good logo. I've already got a good camera.

Mixture of b & c for me. Too much debt to not have a full time job.

I have to work out my tax for it this year too. Good thing I bought lots of gear to make so claims with.

Wow, interesting move. How do you plan on starting? I've noticed the sports (Basketball) images on your site are really good, but it seems like your main interest is portrait / lighting?

For me, my main job is too good to leave and has great opportunities to make everything later a-lot easier. But my passion in photography is growing rapidly, so I'm really wanting to make the most of it as a second job while I can afford to support it financially.

None of your work is paid ed? It's brilliant, I assumed there'd be some payment behind it.

majority of it's paid but I wouldn't call myself professional

purely for fun here. Nowhere near creative or experienced enough to try to make any money out of it
