A quick question of curiosity, how many people here:
a) shoot full-time professionally (Ie main income job)
b) shoot professionally (second income job)
c) shoot for fun

?

But I'll be a) soon, once I've got a good logo. I've already got a good camera.

Mixture of b & c for me. Too much debt to not have a full time job.

I have to work out my tax for it this year too. Good thing I bought lots of gear to make so claims with.

Wow, interesting move. How do you plan on starting? I've noticed the sports (Basketball) images on your site are really good, but it seems like your main interest is portrait / lighting?

For me, my main job is too good to leave and has great opportunities to make everything later a-lot easier. But my passion in photography is growing rapidly, so I'm really wanting to make the most of it as a second job while I can afford to support it financially.

None of your work is paid ed? It's brilliant, I assumed there'd be some payment behind it.

If this is me, then thanks, If not, <embarrassed>

I'm just sliding in at the moment, but need to get off my arse and really push things. Got the gear, nearly got the logo, no excuses!

:-)

Your work is easily to a professional standard, yours, Rai's and Alejandro's work is what got me really interested in beauty.
