Here's a couple of threads of photos I took when I visited the Callan Park Hospital for the Insane, in the Sydney suburb on Rozelle. It was opened in 1878 and closed in 2008. I visited Wards 17 & 18 which were built in the 1960's.

I visited Wards 17 & 18 which were built in the 1960's. These show the different style I mentioned earlier today - inspired by my GF I have been exploring a darker, moodier style. Part 1: https://photography-on-the.net/forum/...d.php?t=795031 Part 2: https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=820063 Great atmosphere. They really capture the mood of the place. It makes me wonder if there is still enough of Gladesville hospital left to justify a visit. After all, I live pretty much next door. Respect the moderators.
