interesting they're announcing an update, not just releasing one? I guess that might mean it's a known issue?

I'm calling this the curling update though, since they want the thing bulletproof for the olympics and it's for slower moving targets.

They just released the thing and already "need" to improve the AF tracking system. Was this camera released before it's time. You would think they would have made a serious effort to get it right before release. Shades of the MKIII "problems".

So Canon, in their INFINITE wisdom, releases an AF update for the FIRST update of their FLAGSHIP sports camera.
I wonder if they know that their last model was plagued by AF issues. Someone should email them.
