Hopefully, by this weekend, we can get them spread out a bit to different foster homes.

HOw many foster homes do you have, Cat?

I guess I haven't reached that point yet where when I'm faced with "squish the dog in somewhere, or let it die today" I can say "I'm full".

Eventually, that's going to have to happen, because this is a bit too much.

But, in my defense ( )... After tomorrow, Apple Valley was supposed to be empty. But HWAC doesn't want any of our big black dogs (of which we have many, LOL), so we kinda had an 'oops' moment. We'd already pulled 8 more dogs before we realized that the ones we had already couldn't go to CA.

Reverting to childhood....

Sloppy Joes for supper. It turned out pretty well, if I don't mind saying so.

I've discovered I don't like frying anything. I cannot stand the smell of grease after I'm done. I had to air out the house...it's raining and cold and all the doors are open...take a shower so it wasn't in my hair...it's no wonder I normally eat very plain fare.

Ugggggh I'm with ya there. I like to eat fried food occasionally. But I DO NOT like the smell in my house.

Oh well. There are worse things that happen.

That and I always love breakfast for dinner night. Who doesn't love a shortstack of pancakes before bedtime.

If the site offers it, there'll be a link for RSS on it soemewhere. Cat's Starfish Journal uses an Atom feed, which is kinda similar.

Gotcha. I had noticed the RSS symbol before.

Go to any restaurant in Oregon and you might get that combo. They actually serve potato chips with a meal instead of french fries. Go figure.

That is of course an exception if you order Fish 'n Chips, then you really get french fries. It is strange and confusing. :p
