What's up with her pupils? They are seriously constricted for a not bright day...

we didn't have it when I was growing up either...or when our kids were growing up...same reason. I love it now though.

A family friend had a small farm and did maple syrup to supplement his income. We had a ton of maple trees....so in return for tapping our trees too....we had a ready supply of syrup....

I can do Mrs. Butterworth's in a pinch....but I would rather wait for the real deal.

Here is some really good news on the work front. It looks like one of the largest concrete subcontractors in Vegas is going to be closing over the next few weeks. They have been doing work for to low a price for to long now and they finally ran out of money. This is really good for us and our phone is ringing off the hook. We expect to be able to pick up about 15 to 20 new housing tracts over the next 1 to 2 months.

We will pick up their people who are any good and maybe buy some of their equipment if the price is right.

Excellent news!!

I too much prefer waffles. Spread peanut butter on top, pour on a bit of maple syrup, and then top with sliced bananas. Nirvana, baby....:p

Well, the day may not have been bright but, if you've ever spent time out in the snow....it bounces a ton of light back and can make you squint easy. I often wear sunglasses when it's overcast in the winter. And, I'm just glad she wasn't tearing up as much as the other girls did.

And, thanks.

for the record: maple syrup here....love it....too cheap to buy it

oh that makes a lot of sense. I've hardly ever been in the snow. It never occurred to me.
