LOL, wasn't it just yesterday we were teens? WTH?
I think everyone in here retains a refreshing youthfulness. I am glad we can all play like high school kids on here:lol:

I'm glad we can too! And stay safe battling the slush!

I am actually just having a hot chocolate with hopes of a bit more sleep later. :D
I got just less than 4 hrs sleep last night, I prefer at least 5, though that rarely happens.

That sounds nice Jim. I am hoping things will wind down and my mind will get sleepy. The snow is done we are just trying to get everything done for morning business. It was a pretty good night but stuff always happens. I get a message "loader machine die in road" Never good. Loader machine indeed die in road, I got someone to fix it. Other than that this was a low stress storm. It looks like Crissa, Deb, and Terri all got snow too. Harm got a dash as well.

We have only had good dustings of a couple inches at a time over the last month, not much at all.

  It wasn't too long ago when you were wondering how you could get away with having three dogs at home, legally...

You could always come down here - I am thinking that is what we are going to have for dinner tomorrow.

It's soooo very tempting!

You really need to get out more...

Ya think?

And, I noticed I made a mistake in the lyrics when I read your quote... It's "If nautical nonsense be something you wish." (Not "is"...)

CrazieCricket wrote in post #9530375 (external link)
I think I was in 7th or 8th grade when that happened. I remember sitting in the school room looking out the windows and watching the ash fall. Very weird.

short5 wrote in post #9530463 (external link)
Cool! I remember all the "entrepreneurs" in D.C. selling baby food jars full of volcano ash:lol: I am sure it was the real stuff:roll: 7th or 8th in 1980? I thought I was older than you. I was in 6th grade I think. Whoa, you are crusty old:shock:

I was one year away from graduating high school. My grandparents lived in Kennewick, WA when the mountain blew. Grandpa collected jars of volcanic ash for all of us. I have no idea where my jar is anymore, though. It went missing a long time ago during a move.

My uncle, who lived in Bremerton, WA back then, climbed to the summit of St. Helen less than a month before that summit disappeared.

good lord. HAHA! I had thousands of thoughts running through my head watching that.
1. wish my 4 dogs that are here would behave that well.
2. poor lil dude with Tev. Who is that anyway?
3. Gaaaa!!! Can't remember his name now, but the guy with the wrapped up foot, behaving sooo well.
4.You look good, Cat, but you need a hair appointment. ( I do too by the way)
5. sheesh Amikah has a few rolls:lol:. Just got Buddy weighed yesterday. He is a husky 85 lbs.
6. All those pups are sooooo lucky to have you. *sniff*

1. Not all of them were behaving.
2. That's Polly. She doesn't like treats. She wouldn't eat any. I wasn't being mean, honest.
3. Kirby is a good dog.. LOVE him.
4. Thanks, and YES I do!
5. Yes, she does, LOL. It's the treats! LOL!
6. *sniff* Thanks Paula.

wow!! I had a couple of thoughts when I read this:

1. when I saw her movie, I just had an omgosh too many dogs, meltdown. then I thought "oh I hope that little one gets a treat".

LOL!!!! I should have said earlier that Polly didn't want a treat. (she didn't even want a cracker, HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! ) that was the only reason she wasn't getting any. LOL!

Up still dealing with asthmatic kiddo. She's pretty sick, but not anything new for us. Poor kid seems to get everything that comes down the pike. Thankfully, its under control....4 neb treatments (per the doc) since 4pm.

I am bushed. Going to nap while I can.

I'm sorry to hear this, Diane. Hope she feels better soon.

Meeting them in about 10 minutes. I'm just letting Parker and Asia run around for a bit before they get loaded in the van.

Tspin is doing so great, billy and I were talking last night about how far he had come while he was lying on his back in the middle of the living room daring me to come play. I think I am going to take him with me when I stay at my parents house next week to see how he does in a new social situation with the same people, hoping to broaden his horizons a bit.

Pirate Dan and anyone else that wants to get sea sick. Is this boat kicking butt or in mortal danger?
