That is quite the stable of dogs.

*kicks of snowy boots, hangs cape up, fires up coffee maker* Hi, I made it.

I am actually just having a hot chocolate with hopes of a bit more sleep later.
I got just less than 4 hrs sleep last night, I prefer at least 5, though that rarely happens.

That sounds nice Jim. I am hoping things will wind down and my mind will get sleepy. The snow is done we are just trying to get everything done for morning business. It was a pretty good night but stuff always happens. I get a message "loader machine die in road" Never good. Loader machine indeed die in road, I got someone to fix it. Other than that this was a low stress storm. It looks like Crissa, Deb, and Terri all got snow too. Harm got a dash as well.

We have only had good dustings of a couple inches at a time over the last month, not much at all.

I was one year away from graduating high school. My grandparents lived in Kennewick, WA when the mountain blew. Grandpa collected jars of volcanic ash for all of us. I have no idea where my jar is anymore, though. It went missing a long time ago during a move.

My uncle, who lived in Bremerton, WA back then, climbed to the summit of St. Helen less than a month before that summit disappeared.

wow!! I had a couple of thoughts when I read this:

1. when I saw her movie, I just had an omgosh too many dogs, meltdown. then I thought "oh I hope that little one gets a treat".

Up still dealing with asthmatic kiddo. She's pretty sick, but not anything new for us. Poor kid seems to get everything that comes down the pike. Thankfully, its under control....4 neb treatments (per the doc) since 4pm.

I am bushed. Going to nap while I can.

Meeting them in about 10 minutes. I'm just letting Parker and Asia run around for a bit before they get loaded in the van.

Tspin is doing so great, billy and I were talking last night about how far he had come while he was lying on his back in the middle of the living room daring me to come play. I think I am going to take him with me when I stay at my parents house next week to see how he does in a new social situation with the same people, hoping to broaden his horizons a bit.

Pirate Dan and anyone else that wants to get sea sick. Is this boat kicking butt or in mortal danger?
