GMAE everyone.

I got out and shot another round of star trails last night :) I am happier with this result despite the obvious light pollution issues from street lights. lol No clouds at least! :)

Nice trails. Reminds me of the sixties.

Percheron, Fafa. ;) There's also Persians, but they're little.

G'mae all. We have much improvement over here. Will need some asthma meds for the next couple days to keep her lungs improving, but she's much more perky and much less scared. Even had enough energy to yell at her brother this morning and tattle on him, lol!

Nice yard indeed. I'd love to have a back yard like that. Mine is SO not like that at all. And I'm not referring to the snow. Maybe I need to do a backyard pano too? lol

Yeah, thanks. I knew I had it wrong.

Glad blondie is on the mend. Sorry it wrecked your plans for the day though. :(

I guess it's like anything else. You shoot what you like. Some people like insects, some like cities. I happen to like landscapes and stars. ;) Taking long exposures of the night sky is an old technique. Usually you have to have super dark skies so you can leave your shutter open for hours. With the method I'm using I can shoot 100 30 second exposures (50 minutes of frames) in fairly light-polluted areas and still get star trails. Now that I'm getting the hang of the technique, I can find more interesting places to take the photos. ;)

Eh, who cares about the plans...not like I have a life anyway. I just want her better before she leaves on Friday.

And uh, where the HECK is the TF?!?

I do like some star trail shots more than others....the ones where you get the almost circular trails.

Well, I guess the plan cancelling means you get more work done.

And, hush on the TF sippy cup lush!

Inhaled stuff as of now, and singulair long term.

It does, and I wear my nickname with pride, thanks. ;) (nevermind that I haven't had anything to drink in well over a month)

Up still dealing with asthmatic kiddo. :( She's pretty sick, but not anything new for us. Poor kid seems to get everything that comes down the pike. Thankfully, its under control....4 neb treatments (per the doc) since 4pm.

Aww... Poor girl. Give her a hug for us...

Cool! I remember all the "entrepreneurs" in D.C. selling baby food jars full of volcano ash:lol: I am sure it was the real stuff:roll: 7th or 8th in 1980? I thought I was older than you. I was in 6th grade I think. Whoa, you are crusty old:shock:

If Paula is "crusty old" I'd hate to see the way you describe me...

LOL, wasn't it just yesterday we were teens? WTH?
I think everyone in here retains a refreshing youthfulness. I am glad we can all play like high school kids on here:lol:

Ahhhhhhhh yeah, valentine's day....got to figure out what to do with the missus...

We've done ours already... The new phones were our Valentine's presents.

sevillafox wrote in post #9532243 (external link)
Nope. I'm much more concerned with getting my office in shape so I can get my studio back and THEN start playing.

I so admire your will power. I would have had it out of the box immediately... I LOVE new toys.

I can't wait to see how you like it Fafa, I am torn between it and an 85 for my next purchase, but I can't afford the L version of the 85.
