They are more available but mostly in crappy Chinese form. Look at a lot of convince stores in the auto "section" you will see them.

Safety Seal is the only way to go. But a little pricey for the average homeowner....http://www.safetyseal.com/store/autokits.htm (external link)

I have one that came out of the trunk of a salvage vehicle that we used to get for training. I miss that part of the job some times....used to find all sorts of interesting things in cars.

nope, I haven't done the hoola hoop. only skiing and snowboarding. The skiing is fun but not as aerobic as the snowboarding. my gosh my nether limbs are dying

Oh goodness! Yeah, your middle region might die after the hula hoops, too! I like the ski jump one as well....step aerobics is my favorite...

I haven't done any of the wii fit ones yet. I was so irritated with that program ("we should start with some balance exercises...") so I've been doing: we ski, shaun white snowboarding: road trip (I want the new one too but don't have it yet) & wii sports (boxing nearly kills me but is great aerobics).

I have (in my life) broken my hip, ribs & ankle and have had major abdominal surgery a couple of times. I swear today I tore scar tissue in every area except my ankle. I'm DYING.

I too much prefer waffles. Spread peanut butter on top, pour on a bit of maple syrup, and then top with sliced bananas. Nirvana, baby....

Hmm. *ponders* I do like my bananas with my peanut butter. And, I also like my peanut butter with my maple syrup. Not so sure I like the three way you got going, lol.

That sounds nice Jim. I am hoping things will wind down and my mind will get sleepy. The snow is done we are just trying to get everything done for morning business. It was a pretty good night but stuff always happens. I get a message "loader machine die in road" Never good. Loader machine indeed die in road, I got someone to fix it. Other than that this was a low stress storm. It looks like Crissa, Deb, and Terri all got snow too. Harm got a dash as well.

Yes :-| We did.

Hoola hoop is fun, once you find the rythm, Really works the abs. I LOL'd at 'nether limbs'. (I also saved the word for future scrabble duals)

Lisa we have Wii Sports Resort, it is lots of fun and great for 2 player as well. Eli kicks my ASS in fencing, but I make up for it in wake boarding! I don't find all of the sports that much 'exercise' tho.

I don't have that one. Just the regular wii sports.

Boxing gives me the biggest workout in that.

For the most part, the ones with the balance board give me the most mid-lower body work out and the boxing (so far) is the best aerobic. I'd be interested though in the ones you guys think are the best.

I have made a note to try the hula hoop and ski jump :)

Sweeeet!

Yes I keep one in the truck and have used it many, many times over the years. I used to make dump runs from work daily and that place is full of nails. They work great and are how most service stations fix it. Make sure you get a professional kit though. The cheap kits use substandard plugs and even worse is the tool to insert them is not strong enough. They are very easy to use except for one thing. Cramming that plug in can be very hard under the car, much easier off the car. This is also where the cheap kits fail, the inserter bends. I use a kit called Safety Seal which is heavy duty. I have used a come-along strap, a hammer, illegal immigrants, and brute force to jam that thing into my big radial truck tires. Except for a slice in the tire I never had a plug fail. A better fix is a patch. The patch is inserted from inside the tire and pushed out leaving a glued flange inside. Generally a patched tire is considered as good as new, where a plugged tire is considered repaired.

Maybe I'll just have the pros do it...

short5 wrote in post #9534440 (external link)
old or cheap plugs

That too. Unless it is in a sidewall most service stations will plug or patch it.

I once had a tire get a sidewall puncture on the highway between the border and Mazatlan, Mexico. We had it repaired in a little lean-to shed in the town of Navojoa and that repair lasted until the tire wore out three years later...

Aw thanks! I can't take credit for it though. My friend Em and I get "accused" of looking alike, but she lives 5 hours away, so we switched shots for the doppleganger thing....her little one is SO cute...and just a week younger than Toddler.
