Lazy day in the hotel room until it's time to get dressed for tonight. Heather's taking a nap and I finished processing some of the shots from last night.

Apparently this weather isn't quite over yet as there was a just a big crash of thunder followed by a short spate of heavy rain. (Heather slept right through it...)

Apparently, I took pictures of the only three-toed sloth on display in the U.S:

How cool is that!?

I guess that makes ours a Two-Toed...

Dang I'm so picturing bondage outfits right now with John in some leather ensemble maybe a gag in his mouth, you in thigh high stilettos with a mask and a whip. GAH it's all so vivid!

Ain't a gonna happen....

HOCK

My sentiments exactly...

Chet wrote in post #9448695 (external link)
How about the mask? This could still work. Will John be wearing a shirt? How high is the slit in your evening gown? Just make sure to wear the six inch heels. I'm picturing dimly lit with one flickering bulb in the distance, some steam coming up from a great in the alley. Maybe some rustling of a cat in the background. A slight whimper is heard coming from John in his sleeveless suit jacket, his skin moist with sweat. Cue a saxophone not a sousaphone playing from a high up window.

You just don't give up, do you?

Not caught up, but Cat, I hope like @W#$@#^E%$^ you found puppers by now. I'm miffed with you. Beyond that, but miffed is a safe word. Wild and wooly day here. Back later tonight if I have any juice left in me.

Great wall hangings everyone.

Zane, I saw a vid of that same cute puppy doing the sit/stay/come thing. Her and her furdad are doing great with the training.

Just got home to take a break.
Haven't found her.

CLARIFICATION:

Those were NOT Jenna's new owners.
And Jenna was never a HART dog.
We would not have let them adopt her.

She was their dog, and they had asked us if we would try her at HWAC when we went. They were completely aware that if she failed that they would need to take her back, as we don't have the facility for a fence jumper.

They came and picked her up and dumped her on their way home with her.

Jon... it has NOTHING to do with screening potential adopters. This was not an adoption. Not a foster, not one of our dogs going home with someone we had approved.

And when we find her, THEN she will be a HART dog, because now it's personal, and I'm PISSED.

Ok, I'm apparently in an emotional state right now, and I'll blame it on that, but I am seriously irritated with the assumption that this was somehow our fault, and that there was anything that we could have done to stop it.

We DO thoroughly screen anyone who takes one of our dogs. Jenna was not our dog. She did not belong to us at any time.

And now I've gotten a bite to eat, and grabbed a cup of coffee. I'm out again.

Sorry to hear that Cat. ((((((Cat))))))
I was not real clear on what all had happened either, but never for a single moment would consider the thought that you had done anything to put that wee girl in any kind of danger. I hope and trust all will work out well for Jenna into the future.

Same here. And not just so that I could help in the search of the dog, but so I could take a picture of you when you're mad. I've never seen that. ;)

I would doubt that Dan, they are probably 6 feet under somewhere.

Cat, I totally thought they were an adoptive family that dumped her, sorry I didn't get it. I didn't really think much about the screening, just that they were schmucks.
