We just sent Tommy home with a bunch for him and his brother.

I also made pretty yummy turkey burgers!

Lonnie I knew Tupper was a big cat but 30 pounds?? WOW!! Tspin is a tall lanky guy and weighs in at about 12 pounds, I figure in a few years when he's older and fattened up he could go about 17 which is what Puck was in his hey day.

Morning all.

Woke up to an eagle landing in the tree right outside our sliding glass doors off the balcony. With the red mountains in the background and a gorgeous blue sky. (Sorry Terri).

*sigh* Beautiful. Peaceful.

Now THAT is cool. I'm glad you had opportunity to decompress.

Gak. *turns various shades of green*

Yeah, I SO want that green dress! It's CUTE!

I like it too, but wouldn't look as nice in it.

No they are there for the social aspect. There is always a portion of the crowd that is only slightly aware there is a horse race going on. I wouldn't much trust them to butter toast let alone race a horse. No idea on the shoes, I cut them off *roll eyes*

Girl Jockeys *sigh*

Very, very sad.

Lol

Indeed it is. There are no details, thank goodness and may never be, but they minded their own business, kept their place looking nice and had well-ish known family. I hope the family is able to find some peace.

we just had a multiple murder/suicide in Portland. It was so terrible. Just a day or two ago.

Kody....I've been running Win7-64 for over a year now...I haven't had a single problem with any software or hardware. Everything runs the way it should....all the memory is utilized and the thing is a rocket. Win7 is an amazing improvement over XP and leaps and bounds better than Vista.

^^ Well look at that, Wool put into words what I was feeling too in-eloquent to say.

Last night, I picked up my wife from her night classes, driving home, there is a notorious spot where kids and adults run across the road (even though there are lights right by them). So we saw a police car, with lights flashing, stopped to let him go by. There were 3 cars just in front of me pulled over - I thought they pulled over for the cop to go by...nope...some kid had run across the road and was hit, hard - luckily right outside of a firestation - must have happened less than a minute before we got to the scene as the firemen were running out of the firestation - blood on the pavement and the front of the car was rather mashed up. That kind of stuff freaks me out more than murders and suicides that are a dime a dozen in cities...

Oh good crap. I hope like heck that the kid was/is/will be ok.

I like that girl's top, the Scottish Flag... Also, quite the contrast between the jockey and the other side of the fence. lol

No difference between those two, they are both jump Jockeys. Look close you will notice the girl outside the fence has the straps from her flack jacket over her shoulders and you can see the double button on her white race silks. I wish I had a wider view.

Wow, I hope they were okay. Most don't realize it but if murders are a dime a dozen then peds struck are a penny a gross. Happens all the time all day long.

The fun thing is that it turns out they are a licensed non-profit so they included a $800 donation receipt for the images they used

Nice tax deduction for doing a great thing. :D

#6 (seventh photo -- the girl wearing #6) looks eerily familiar to me, but I'm not sure just why...

Probably a dream. ;)

Wow Dan, that sounds good too!!

I used potatoes, onions, celery and green onions, added a few hard boiled eggs, balsamic vinaigrette dressing, pepper, garlic powder, Mrs. Dash spicy stuff, salt and some mayo. It was tasty!!

Try some pieces of chopped up dill pickles too. Adds a real nice tang to it.

It is snowing here again, a forecast maybe 1-3 inches has turned into at least 4 inches now with it snowing well into the evening, we are at 2 inches an hour at the moment...I am off, but they closed the job at 1.

We have the nasty crap again, too.

Poor Minnie hardly ever gets to sleep in her crate any more. For about a month now, Tupper always seems to be in there! And, now for the past week or two, Kitteh is in there more often than not, as well. When it's time for me to go to work, and I have to crate Minnie for the duration, I always have to evict at least one cat. I think I'm going to have to get another crate...

Aww! LOL!

My salary is on the internet, isn't that great? All of the City is out there. A guy comes in and makes a public disclosure request every year so he can post them on his site. lol

Is this some guy who thinks all municipal employees are overpaid slackers?

It's snowing and they're not sure what to do about it... lol

Hello people, what part of winter olympics don't you understand?

The sad fact is that there are enough slackards out there that they give those working hard, doing their job a bad name. There are also too many brothers/sisters, wife's, kids of elected officials doing nothing and getting paid.
