The Prey series was very enjoyable. I'm open to anything and everything with the possible exception of romance novels.

Have you read David Weber's Honor Harrington series? SF genre.

Kody....I've been running Win7-64 for over a year now...I haven't had a single problem with any software or hardware. Everything runs the way it should....all the memory is utilized and the thing is a rocket. Win7 is an amazing improvement over XP and leaps and bounds better than Vista.

Sounds great! I can't wait to get my new computer and start playing!

Lonnie I knew Tupper was a big cat but 30 pounds?? WOW!! Tspin is a tall lanky guy and weighs in at about 12 pounds, I figure in a few years when he's older and fattened up he could go about 17 which is what Puck was in his hey day.

Tspin is 12 pounds?!? Hmmm.... Maybe Kitteh is a little heavier than the 5 or so pounds I was guesstimating. I'm gonna have to weigh her and see.

And, yep. Tupper is a very big guy. He once weighed in at 38 pounds. That was several years ago. I know he's lost a little weight since then, but I haven't had him on a scale lately, either.

Could that really be it?

lol. No. It'd be stale before it got here anyway.

You'd be really surprised. :) They do priority the same day that they bake. Which might mean that there's a delay in shipping, but....its pretty amazing. IDK how the heck (or why) she does it, but Sandi seems to love it.

All you readers out there. I'm looking for input. I'm looking to start some new series of books and looking for opinions. I've finished the Sandford Prey series, which I liked, the Connelly Harry Bosch series, which was also good and looking for something along those lines. Anyone got a favorite?

Anne of Green Gables. Misty of Chincoteague. Clan of the Cave Bear. That's all I got, lol...haven't had time to read much other than a short article here and there for a LONG time.

That was fun. :-S Took both kids, by myself, to an event where they had a couple guys from the local hockey team (AHL) signing autographs. The players were late, there was a line out the door and my kids BOTH decided to cop 'tudes. The attitudes are gone now. They are doing chores. :-|

I've read the cave bear series. It was pretty good but got goofy towards the ends when Aila started inventing everything known to mankind including the B(*#J*$

They have days at school that are all about a certain student, they fill out these forms about their favorite things and take in photos. The teacher told me that Eli had the most chores out of any student. He is 8, he feeds and brushes the cat, takes out the garbage and recycling, puts the laundry from the washer into the dryer and when we take the sheets off once a week he is in charge of taking them off and putting them back on when clean. I keep thinking he needs more...

I like the idea. The plain circle in the center does not seems quite right. I dunno, maybe an open shutter?

The series did get to be too much by the end. I totally agree that Ayla seemed to invent just about everything, which was a bit too much.
