Beautiful **** holding a nice point, I can appreciate that. It is a great niche for you to shoot.

Yeah, the lady we traveled with wants me to get into shooting other peoples dogs at field trials etc.... I guess it would be good to do if I don't get bored to death.:lol:

Goodnight, everyone. We had a very stressful day here that involved hours at the police station, bad guys with guns, threats, driving around keeping one eye out for people who don't wish us well, etc..

Alls well that ends well. We now have a new cell phone, so the abusive messages have stopped. The three strike law has been explained to the bad guys by our friends at the local sheriff's department, and I expect these fellows will be moving on now that they know they've caught the attention of the local constabulary.

One of the guys we've been contending with is a triple felon, and should already be doing life in prison because of California's 3-strike law, but his last conviction was thrown out on a technicality (or something like that). His next conviction will put him back in prison for the rest of his life. He has already served a total of twenty years for various crimes including burglary, assault, and manufacturing drugs, The other guy has only been convicted of one felony (battery and domestic violence.) These are some real sweet fellows.

They are illegally in possession of a property we manage, and are trying to shake us down for $3,000 to get them to move. Normally this would be just a simple civil matter, but the veiled threats are pretty unsettling. The triple felon is just a sleazy person with no scruples. The other guy has an explosive temper, and has threatened me on the phone. After their talking-to by the police chief, I'm sure they're not going to be too happy with us.

This is sure not how we planned on spending our golden years.

Oh....my garbage disposal died today, too. That wasn't a complete surprise, and I had already picked up a new one at Lowe's. I just didn't want to actually have to fix it for a few days.

How was everyone else's day?

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

 Not bad, thanks :-|

I hope they step in front of a bus and instantly resolve your problem. Sorry you are dealing with scum.

This just in:

Kinda disappointied in the toughness of those wimpy Scots.

LISA, love the turtle shot

PAULA, great on the dog shot. That would be a fun type of shooting to day, and if you can make some money, so much the better. :D

Tile is so cheap and I know someone who is good with tools.

<----Has enough tile tools to outfit two crews, just too bad they are are with me, too far away to do any good.

I could always use another holiday, maybe Unca Ick could use a helper. :D

Wow, sounds so much like not being fun in the least. I just don't understand people like that. Glad that nothing too awful happened.

I have had similar experiences with tenants who were difficult to get out. Sheriff's were involved, their place trashed, and all kinds of slanderous writings to us on the wall. We are likely one of the easiest and least tough landlords going.

My day was busy, but ok. :D

Crap Bucky, I hope things take a turn for the better.
The car sounds like it is down a cylinder. Maybe a plug wire or a plug coil. I hope it's simple.

That has my vote.

Hope so too. Luckily we have a good old mechanic in town, quick, reasonable and good. I like that much better than going to dealerships.

He is also very involved with the kids of the community through COON CREEK CASTERS (external link).

I dunno how you all do it. The one's of you that do "certain" shoots and then have all that processing and someone "waiting" for you to get them done. GAAAAA!!!! I hate it!!! much prefer to do my "shoot what I want, and process when I feel like it" way.

First few jobs we had to process were nightmares, eventually you get into a work flow though and it speeds along. Hang in there, sounds like a good opportunity for you and the shot you posted is beautiful.

I'll take my car woes over what you went through any day.

How is the cough, Chief? Hope it is getting better.

VOTE!!!!

*raises hand* I'm guilty of not voting everyday and now H.A.R.T. has fallen to 5th place in the state.

Let's rally and bring Cat and friends back up in the standings.

Good morning everyone...

Have I been sleeping? I thought the voting ended. Has it started anew? If so I'll fire up my voting crew. I'm good for about 5 votes a day without cheating. :)

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
