Nature or Human Nature

I bought the 70-200mm f/4L IS on advice that it would be a good lens to photograph native wildflowers. I got the 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 for "landscape" photography.

After a year with both lenses, I find I like the 70-200mm for landscapes and the 10-22mm for wildflowers...It's got to be human nature - Go figure.

Nice photos... the second one is especially good.

I wish I could see the first one without scrolling, so I can't comment on it. The second shot is beautiful, I love the subject and the colors.

I went with the 1024 wide image because some of the crispness is lost with the smaller versions but it's easy to post the smaller versions.

This one doesn't quite fit in my 1680x1050 monitor but it's very close.

In such a case, I simply save the image to my desktop and open it from there. My image viewer defaults to "fit to screen" and still leaves me the option to zoom into the intended level of detail.
