I bought the 70-200mm f/4L IS on advice that it would be a good lens to photograph native wildflowers. I got the 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 for "landscape" photography.
After a year with both lenses, I find I like the 70-200mm for landscapes and the 10-22mm for wildflowers...It's got to be human nature - Go figure.
