Whilst at the airport today, there was a break in the clouds, and tornadoes (yes, 2 tornadoes struck through Auckland!), but unfortunately, there were no aircraft to be seen.

So I stuck on my 17-40 again, shot vertical and came out with this.

It's actually shot from a 45 degree angle to a corner of a fence. But how it's been stitched, it looks like it's straight (except the up and down, due to it being a hill!)

The only way you can see there is a different angle/curvature, is the shadows created from the fence. It crosses over half way, and the rest of the shadows go the opposite way. I just thought it looked quite neat, as the image doesn't look so round. Field of view is maybe 120 degrees.
