I decided to get up before sunrise and head out to an area where I usually see a few Bald Eagles(Adults and Juvi's). The most was the one morning where there were a combo of 6 of them....So I figured if I got in place prior to daybreak that I might have a shot to catch them in the cypress tree that they fish from and feed in....well basically, NO LUCK...the pic above is of a juvi that was headed for my tree but then he landed in another tree that was out of my shooting sight due to other trees. About an hour after the juvi above landed another one flew in (saw him thru the limbs but couldn't get a shot) and tried to land where the other was...they kinda did a quick play fight and then they flew off down the river...so that was when I called it a day...maybe next time I will have better luck....lighting was a bit tough as can be seen with the shadows on the underside of the wings...probably should have been using my flash extender.

even though it isn't a great shot it is probably by far my best Eagle in flight

C&C welcome and appreciated!

Nice shot, but looks a little underexposed, any chance of giving it a tweak.

thanks and I did tweak it some...actually tweaked it to +1 on exposure :(
and the crop is about a 1/4 of the original size so I had to tweak the noise reduction some too
