Here are a few from a couple of overnights recently. The Agama was in Seronera inside the Serengeti. The Lions were from Klein's Camp in a private concession just outside the Serengeti. There are more of the lion chasing the giraffe. I was halfway through emptying my camera for what I knew was coming when the lion took off. I only managed to get 6 shots before I got the dreaded "error 99" on my display.

One more. A young male lion checking out some gazelles. All of these were taken with a 50D and 70-200mm 2.8

Great shots, particularly the action of the second shot.

Well the lion took down the giraffe but the two adults came back and chased it away. Baby got up and took off and the 2 adults followed by another 6 walked into the bushes and chased all the lions away. Once the giraffe went down I left the camera and just watched what was going on.
