My son wants to create saberlight effect in video clips. He wants to add these effects in his home made star-wars with lego pieces.
Does anybody know of free software add-on to be used with iMovie in Mac?

Regards

Generally, people just use after effects for that. It's really easy to do it. But not free by any means. If you're just doing stop-motion animation with legos though, but a box of glowsticks and just use the liquid. can get messy if you don't do it right, but not hard to do and much cheaper than buying after effects

I don't hate macs or OSX, I hate people and statements that portray them as better than anything else. Macs are A solution, not THE solution. Get a good desktop i7 with Windows 7 and come tell me that sucks for photo or video editing.

Usually that's a bad sign... quite possibly having viruses.

I don't know of any free software for this, but EffectsLab from fxhome is cheap and easy for adding lightsaber and loads of other scifi effects. I've never used it, but it looks like it would be perfect.
