I just got back from the disney cruise that went to the bahamas. I only took what I needed ashore but I never felt threatened or anything if thats what you are worried about. there were a ton of people and cops everywhere. I wouldnt venture off any dark alleys or anything. glad I took it. the sunset pics on my web site and a few of the coastal pics are from nassau. check it out at www.520photography.com (external link)

Bahamas are safe. Just don't look too stupid, like anywhere. The only annoying thing there is that EVERYONE asks for tips all the time. Bahama is lame and the cruise ships are like buses.

Just remember that it rains, everyday. It is usually a 10-20 minute shower, but without a doubt it will rain. So be sure to pack a trash or plastic bag when the skies open up at random.
