I purchased a new computer with Windows7 OS, installed the DPP disc but when I went to the Canon website to update Zoombrowser EX and DPP Windows7 OS is not among the selections in the drop down menu.

Can updates be installed and functional were I to select VISTA as the OS, even tough it is not, or am I stuck using old version of DPP until Canon supports Windows7?

Really doesn't matter what version you install as long as your camera is supported you know. Not like they added any features that your camera can use.

I don't hate macs or OSX, I hate people and statements that portray them as better than anything else. Macs are A solution, not THE solution. Get a good desktop i7 with Windows 7 and come tell me that sucks for photo or video editing.

I would just like to be able to have the latest edition of DPP installed since I am used to working with it. But when the download site asks which OS I use, Windows7 is not an option.

You'll see older versions are exactly the same. But if you must, 95%+ of Vista compatible programs will work in 7 just fine out of the box
