If you do tons of editing, alot of people will recommend a tablet. As for a mouse, I use the Logitech MXRevolution and I like it and would have no problem recommending it . It is accurate and works on any surface I have tried it on, including glass, arborite and wood. I got my wife a Microsoft MobileMouse 6000 for her laptop and that thing works on the curved arm of a wingback chair like it was on a mousepad . That one, however, I couldn't use too much (too small).

If you don't want a tablet (but why wouldn't you) then get a mouse designed for gaming like a Razer (external link) or a Logitech with Darkfield Laser Tracking (external link). These will give you the kind of control that cheaper mice only dream of.

Logitech Performance MX. Used to have a Razer Mamba - total crud, continuous stuttering and near total failure if there was a mobile phone in the same county.

I'm using a Logitech G9 right now. Before that, I used a Logitech G5.

AFter using a tablet I can't imagine going back to a mouse for editing. I just got a Wacom Intuos3 from Costco for $99. It's awesome. It was in the "Market Watch" section.

Apple Magic Mouse. Gestures and multitouch make it the best mouse I've ever used.

"Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.

I too have the Magic Mouse and it is indeed the best mouse I have ever used however......

I have a Wacom Bamboo A5, I cannot imagine processing without it. There isn't a mouse that can compare. not even a fabulous Apple Magic Mouse!
