I am going to Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, and wondering on how to get good pictures through the glass. I only have a P&S right now, and Flash is not allowed there. Any tips would be appreciated.

That lens has a very good price, less than 100 in most stores. I bought it just before I visited an Aquarium last summer. So, these was my first pictures with it. Shot directly through the glas, avoid any angles or space between the lens and the glas. Then you avoid flare and reflex. I used a monopod on my camera and leaned at the glas to be more stable, a tripod wouldn't have been alowed. Careful with the autofus when pushing it at the glas, couse its moving in and out. Living in Austria, I am so glad that there is stuff like Gimp out there...
