i dont post here often (obviously), but shooting bulldogs is just about all i do (both in the house, and at the shows)... my girlfriend does akc shows, and breeds her show ****. since i've been with her this past year we've had two litters from two separate ****, and the last litter was born on february 13th.

we did a "special delivery" type theme with them a couple weeks ago. :)

Those are some great looking pups. I miss those days when they were that small. Then again, I also enjoy my sleep now. I was up every couple hours just to take them out. It was hard but it worked.

I lost all my bulldog files in a computer crash, I have had three of them Puggie Wuggie (because he wugged all the time), Dixie Lee, and Ted (Theodore).

Boy I really miss my Teddy he was awsome a red bridle, puggie was a fawn and Dixie was more of a brown brindle.

I don't know how everyone else is but I have had alot of trouble with the breed. Puggie was the best he lived 10 years, but Dixie went into kidney failure at 4 years and then my boy Ted aspirated and had phneomnia (sp?) in both lungs he was only 3 and on a ventolator for three days before I had to let him go. Love, love, love the breed, but I can't take the heartbreak again.

Anyone, who does not know and is thinking about getting the breed, they do not do well in the heat and the must not be left outside.

Love all the photos!!!

So sorry you've had some bad experiences Barbara....I think bulldogs are like any other pedigree breed, you can get some that have a whole heap of problems and others that are fine.

My 3yr old boy Bubba runs like a mad thing, swims in the summer (with a lifejacket) and is fantastically fit. Obviously you have to know the breed restrictions, if you love hiking in the summer then a bully isn't for you but work within their limitations and you'll never want any other dog!!
They're the funniest, quirkiest, most stubborn breed there is....and I wouldn't change Bubba for the world!!

Thanks, its hard when you lose any animal so young in life. I loved each and every one of my bullies!!! Now I am going to hunt through old CD's so I can post my bully photos.

Do it! I'd love to see pics of your bullies. :D I've had 3 rescue bulldogs that have all been gone a long time and I wish I had photos of them :(
