I was going back through some of my photos from my trip to South Africa and originally had discarded this shot but now I think I like it. Do you think it works or is the tall grass too distracting?
Thanks

Jan 25, 2010 00:26 | #2 I think it works well. You can see its eye, which is important. The focus looks spot on. To me, it looks like exactly what it is. A leopard on the prowl in its natural environment. Obviously, it would have been a better shot without the grass covering its mouth, but when dealing with nature and photography, we sometimes have to put up with the cards we are dealt. Either way, well done.

Thanks for the comments. Nigel, someone else suggested the same thing. It didn't work as well with the neck but a much tighter crop on the head with plenty of space to the right worked well. Here it is: What do you think?

I do like it and did another one with a little more of the neck at someone else's suggestion. I think I like this one best of all: Thanks. Other comments and thoughts are appreciated as well.
