Surf after the SoCal Rains

Went out to check out the surf this morning and there was definitely some size out here in SoCal. Here are a few from Swami's and Fletcher Cove(Pill Box):

Yes, this pic was taken today...this guy is a really nice dude and we see him surfing all the time...he just doesn't like wetsuits!

Thanks! I just picked up a new(to me) 1DMK2n and used my 300 f2.8 with a 2x extender. I was happy with the quality considering the 2x extender, I've heard all kinds of "focusing" issues with those things. Up in Irvine you should be alot closer to the action than we are down here in San Diego! Good luck and post some of your pics!

Really nice work! I've always wanted to shoot surfing. I guess I'm not in a bad place to do so.

They make it look so easy

No wetsuit...that guy is nuts! I forgot my booties on my last surf and was a little nervous till I jumped in the water.
