doesnt matter what side it is
should of had a longer shutter speed
exposure is good but they barely look like their moving
try around 1/40th or 1/50th at about 50-60 km/h

it matters... the shutter speed is fine, its the fact the suns light is almost blocking out all the cars which are casting very long shadows.

Only the first shot works, IMO.

that IS has rpf1's right?

and i agree with the above two posts. less sun (i know that is a tough one because you don't control the sun) and a little more shutter, 1/50th.

should have shot from the other side.

and notice how your camera focuses on the cars. the first photo is sharp in the rear but soft up front. the second photo is all soft. the third is a little better and the fourth is full of flares.

try rolling faster and holding a constant speed. manually pick AF points too.

Agree with the others. First one is the best. The rest are somewaht soft in areas and the sun killed them. Keep trying though, I like these type of shots

The shadows would work as a design element for me in #3 & 4 if you cropped out most of the sky.
"Good" flare is hard to predict. You just have to shoot & expect to delete a lot of what you get.

I like the sun flare, it add's to the pictures... how did you shoot into the sunlight with getting a good exposure? Usually when i shoot into the sun my pictures turn out white and way over exposed.

These shots look like they were taken on PCH in Huntington Beach (CA), heading southbound. (that RV in the last pic is a dead giveaway) If so, it would have been harder to shoot from the other side and achieve a decent background. I'd try switching directions and head northbound if you wanted to shoot from the other side. Or shoot the same direction, but at sunrise instead of sunset. That is, if take other people advice that this is the "wrong" side. It appears to me that you were going for the flare look in your shots, since all of them were shot that way.

Can I take your picture? "I'll swallow your soul!" Well, my camera will at least.
