Surfing at Black's 1/24/10

Surf dropped off from yesterday but there were some freight trains coming through. A few broken boards/leashes but plenty of tubes to be had.

Initially it looked small and was second guessing bring the board instead of the camera but then a set would roll through and was confident I made the right choice.

2nd and third group of the series is nice.

1st Pic in second group is really awesome...well they are all really awesome but I like that one the best!! What equip were you using?? Maybe I should have headed down there instead of Swami's???

LOVE Blacks at that size. You won't find me when the DOH canyon clean ups are rolling through.
Looked fun that day.

I was on the fence between Swami's/Black's but it was such a nice day i was looking forward to the hike down the hill. I was shooting w/a 20d, canon 200mm 2.8 prime, and kenko 1.4x telecon. A lens with more reach would be nice but not a lens I would use a whole lot.
