Manfrotto 7322CY for travelling?

I'm looking for a compact/light travel tripod for my 30D. Heaviest lens will be 70-200 f4 L but will mainly be used with tamron 17-50mm & sigma 10-20mm.

The spec for this tripod suggests it can take the weight (up to 3.5kg) but then recommends it for compact DSLRs or bridge cameras.

Anybody have any experience with this tripod or recommend a carbon travel tripod for a similar price (£130)?
