Lots of questions always come up with regard to polarizers...what they're for, what they can/cannot do, among others. Came across this link that should help out a lot of folks:

Very nice link, never thought about using the polarizer for the rainbow. can't wait to use that technique. Makes me think about getting a GND or ND filter.

Nice thanks. I love polarizer effects, but I find some of those through-the-water shots distracting.
