Nice, although too much smoothing on the second. I didnt know we had members from Cassville. I grew up in Washburn :)

Wow thats crazy. I have done some shooting in Washburn and Seligman. Where you located now? Thanks for the comment, and I knew I should have went a little easier on the second shot.

Springfield Illinois. My family is still there so I make it back 4 or 5 times a year. BTW the girls didnt look like that when I was there. I'm pretty certain about that :)

#1 was stunning! A bit too much smoothing on the 2nd one perhaps? Looks a little bit unnatural.

I think they're both very well done. I still see considerable detail in the face in #2. I think there's a little defintion of features being lost because the cheek "flows" right into the nose from camera left to right. A little contrast tweak and maybe burn a little to put back some contours.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I will try a contrast and maybe a little burning like FlyingPhotog suggests and see what comes of the edit.
