Those GoPro cameras are quite nice. I had one this past summer for shooting video during bike races. Unfortunately, the mount broke during a race and the camera was lost (prob. ended up in the gutter and someone snapped it up). Great camera - keep an eye on the mount.

My pictures: John Wilke Photography (external link), Flikr (external link) , Facebook (external link), Fine Arts America (external link), Canon 1D MkII N, 1D MkIII, various Canon and Tokina lenses. :D

I have a friend who has GoPro - but I think he had it hooked into his helmet somehow when he was biking down in SC.

Don't know much about them - but great pic.

also went to your site...the vids you uploaded to youtube were great.

Great shots. I have two of the regular and just picked an HD myself last month. Fantastic quality especially when you consider the price. The new HD version is way better than the last.

I have the GoPro Hero Wide, but after viewing this thread I bought the new HD model. Can't wait to use it this Spring.

This is a pretty interesting video, although as pointed out at the beginning, it is not scientific.

Absolutely! That's one of the first things I tell everyone about. Way better than having batteries that only last maybe 40 mins max.

Thanks! I was actually just looking for my burner to try shooting it again. It's been a couple of years.
