If I am about to run out and I have a fully charged and a 1/2 charged battery and threw them in there, also anything bad? That is not a problem. Canon battery grips are designed to draw from the stronger battery first until it's at the level of the weaker battery. Then it alternate between the batteries (a few shots from each at a time), drawing them down evenly. TANSTAAFL--The Only Unbreakable Rule in Photography
