It doesn't do too much for me, honestly. The sky is rather dull and there is a whole lot of it.

Looks a bit blown out to me. Anyway to shoot this a bit lower, with less sky maybe?

BTW>> Is that snow on Mt. Charleston?

yes, I had to blow it up, taken at dark almost 7 pm, I just wanted to get as bright as I can, I liked the large sky because I had to cropped part of the foreground, the mountain is towards red rock, closer to Las Vegas.

here is a panoramic photostitch of the red rock canyon, on the other side of the hills on the above photo; not often do we see this much snow here:

Next time you get a chance, shoot some long exposures around that time after the sun goes down just when it is about to get dark. You will get some amazing "blue hour" photos of vegas and the skyline.

Why is the image dominated by empty sky? Seems like an odd way to compose this shot. You can't even crop it all out because there is so little of the city to help ground the image.
