Wasn't there a thread somewhere around here with someone concerned that his 40D was not hitting the 6.5fps speed it should be capable of, only to realize later that there are two continuous shooting modes, one at 3fps, and the high speed ("H") one at 6.5fps? If I remember correctly, it is one that made it to the Classic Blunders of the Camera Kind sticky.

Hey, Canon users all over the world on average make fools of themselves only once every minute! That's still better than Nikon users, who are fools continuously as long as they are Nikon users.

A small foolish buffer is just another downfall of canon.

You see, Nikon, unlike Canon takes the time needed to perfect their gear. And when it is perfected then Nikon releases their gear. Canon (like Apple) makes low-quality gear as quickly as they can, and put the junk on the market at 200% of what it should be priced.

No, no, no. Apple makes quality products that are still 200% overpriced and nobody actually truly needs, but think they need it because Steve Jobs said so. And that's how Apple makes a ton of money.

As for the other two, Canon these days seems to always play catch-up with Nikon, I'll give you that! But I wouldn't go as far as saying that Nikon's products are perfected...

We do have a small buffer, but thats just because we don't need it to take a second picture all our shots are perfect!!

That is a really cool picture of the WORKING Nikon taking a photo of similarly classed cameras. I assume those are all the broken ones in the shot

Just so you know his cover was blown by 2 things.
