I could use some help with saving multiple files in PSE 7.
I have custom made borders for my pictures saved as a .PSD I copy and paste my pictures into these then "save" but for each picture I save I have to re-browse for the folder and check the other options as well. I have tried making copies of the border and pasted a picture into each one but when I try to "process multiple files" it only processes 1 of the edited pictures. Is there a way to batch process these things ?
I stopped using Elements at either version 4, so I don't know the various updates for newer versions. One of the key reasons for me moving to CS(2) were the batch/automation tools that Elements lacked. I've heard, though, that some things are possible with newer Elements versions, so I just did a search for "photoshop elements batch" and this was returned:

I no longer have Elements installed and can't reflect on the various tutorials listed, but there seem to be a goodly number of references.
OR, it would also be a big help if I didn't have to re-browse for the folder each time. If I use "open" to bring a picture in, that location is remembered, but when I use "save" it starts where "open" was last.
It's pretty common for a lot of progams to "stick" things in places that we would rather they don't...by that, I mean, of course, to stick file and folder references in the last place we did either an open or a close. Maybe it's a file system thing, I don't know.
Needless to say, I wasn't accusing software of "sticking things in places that we would rather they don't" in any other way, honestly...
