How come they make P&S completely waterproof?

For relatively cheap $200 compared to a DSLR?

Biggest Issue: The lens is designed to come off of a dSLR...

P&S doesn't have that inherent leaking quality.

Very true, it just makes me a bit envious with those p&s being able to go 6 feet underwater wheras I'd have to be cautious of a big downpour.

look around man, alot of people on here have gotten their DSLRs soaked and have had no issues, there was even a lady on here who dropped it into water and it still worked fine. obviously you can't take it underwater, but theres alot more things the P&S people can be jealous of us for. :D

Buy a 1D Mark whatever, and proper L lens, and then you don't have to worry about a downpour! :lol::lol::lol:
