Paintball Photography (Oahu Scenarios)

im just wondering if i should use a flash when im taking pics in a Scenario? ill be using a 430ex II and 75-300 f/4.5 or something like that.
(this is more aimed at Gary but others are free to answer)


Bodys: Canon 1D X, Canon 1D Mark II, Canon 50D, GoPro HERO 960, Canon Rebel X/S Film
Lens: Canon 70-200mm L USM f/4, Canon 17-40mm L USM f/4, Canon 75-300mm f/4.5-5.6 III, Canon 35-80mm f/4-5.5 III, Canon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 II, Canon 50mm f/1.8 II
Flash: Canon Speedlite 430EX II

I would think flash would be more of a hinder than a help. If you were to use flash, the recharge times wont be superb, possibly making you miss out on those one time shots. I'm not sure what the lighting is like, so only you can know.

thx. its all good. i saw Gary and he also had a flash on one of his cams.

Really instead of getting a flash, sell the 75-300 and get a 70-200 f/4L
It would save you alot of issues i think.

Myself shooting scenario i have never used a flash nor have i on a speedball field. But thats just me...
