Sorry to say but those pictures do not show off lomography very well. Those just look like poorly taken photos.

I know that is pretty cliché since that’s what lomography is about but none of those really work.

Try with some better light and maybe shifting some colours around during processing.

I'm not sure what it is that you propose would be improved with better light or shifting the colors, if you don't like them as they are.

Lomography is really an art in its own right and the definition is pretty open.

Its all rotated around taking a bad photo but in a good way if that makes sense.

So that could mean blurry images, incorrect colours like shades of blue or tints of purple etc.

If you have a look at some of the samples on here http://www.lomography.com/photos (external link) (click on the Diana link)

There is a big different in work

I was more interested in trying to bring forward a certain mood, rather than staying true to that certain school of photography. I like to use strangers while keeping them anonymous, which is part of why they are so unfocused, the other part being that the lens itself is a "soft focus (external link)" lens.

Anyways, this were my first tries. Perhaps I will get a better handling of it and the pictures won't seem as poorly taken.

Yeah don't take offense. But Teshi is right. Try to take some photos during mid day harsh sun. Get some with some color...

I got one too for Christmas but mine isn't anywhere near that blurry, just slightly soft. I did add a vignette by taking out the front element and placing an f/5.6 Lensbaby aperture disk behind it and reassembling. I'd post some stuff but I don't like people being snobs, especially about lomo, which is, after all, about breaking the rules.
