Took this shot while on a Poker Run in the Keys

We were doing about 80 miles an hour in my buddies 47ft Apache. and I just looked up and took this pic.

Interesting situation.

Just a thought but it would have been much stronger if the young lady were just looking straight ahead. Looks like she's hiding from you while being shot from the helo.

Any more where she's not being so coy?

I have a few more, but she isn't in the shot. It sucks she's turned away from the shot, but I just grabbed the camera and took it as fast as I could without thinking

I disagree. That really makes the shot. If she was looking away from the helicopter, it wouldn't have the same impact. We can all assume she is a very attractive lady. We can tell that because the guy in the helicopter is risking life and limb to get a photo of her.

agreed. only thing wrong with the shot is her hand covering her face. Having siad that, it stilla good shot. very well seen and technically very good, just the right shutter speed so as not to freeze the rotor blades too much.

I photographed the Poker Run in the 1000 Islands this year. My family goes every year and we've always loved it.
