I do not think it will really change a lot for the photographer. We have already had resources to upload images to portable devices, and some of us don't even use those. They also pointed out that it's a 10" screen, but if you think about that, 10" is really small. You'd be able to upload to flickr on the go directly from the camera. And as stated, portfolio wise it's probably a good idea. Also, it seems to be a possible replacement for text books. The camera connection kit immediately made me wish that the Touch had the same thing.
