Last week Arizona got hit with one of the worst winter storms in a long time. We had lots of rain in the Phoenix Area and the higher elevations like Flagstaff received tons of snow. After the storm cleared we decided to drive to the Grand Canyon to finally experience it with snow. They had gotten 3 feet of snow during that storm - the ranger said it was the biggest storm for them since 1967.
It was just beautiful up there. Here is just one picture of the scenery (only two viewpoints were open - all others were still packed with snow). I am still working through all the pics I took - I will post more as I get them done.
