I have a friend who is thinking about buying a custom painted nifty fifty...it's like a L lens for poor people lol
He sent me a pic and personally I think it looks pretty cool..
Although he told me that it'll probably cost him as much as the lens cost ( which is about 100 bucks lol ), Im thinking about getting one once I see it in person...

Anyone here try to do something like this?

I think the pink one would be perfect for my wife..
Although he is not telling me who makes these stuff, I think hes trying to make some money off me if I really want to order one :cry:

I think they just added that in to make it cooler...along with the RED LINE that makes it look like an L lens lol

Lol that's so true....since I got into photography anything with a red line around it is now sexy to me :D

Er, not keen.
Kinda reminds me of the fake Rolex watches in the 80's. Everyone KNEW they were fake, and people looked a sad case when they bought them.
Now if it was my 24-105L in white, then that would be a different matter :-)
