When shooting marcros does the 7D have a new feature to more rapidly adjust focus in AI Servo (helpful for shooting wind blown subject)?
Is this feature only available with Canon macro lens?
Thanks....

I'm asking because I was considering getting a Sigma 180mm macro but may reconsider now.

apersson850 Obviously it's a good thing More info | In addition to requiring a Canon macro lens, you also have to use it at a reproduction scale of 1:3 or larger, for the normal Servo AF to change into the special macro servo AF. Anders

Just based on Reviews I've read online the Sigma 180mm f/3.5 macro looks good for the price.

Didn't really work for me until I switched to continuous drive where almost one out of three shots was in focus. To be honest, I didn't feel any difference from when I used other cameras. _______________
