The rules are simple. Someone posts a super macro photo and the rest have to guess what it is. Whoever guesses first has to post another photo and so it goes on.

I'll start things off with an easy one. :D

Ok well perhaps it helps that I know what it is! It's often the way with these things.
:)

The object at the top of the photo is what you are trying to identify. Ignore the rest of the photo as the object is just sitting on a stainless steel surface. The two are unconnected.

I'll give clues if needed :)
