Definitely the dash of a car. The sticker on the left is the vehicle tax disc? Cool photo, nicely done.

frame, with respect, it is actually Paul007 who is to post the next macro for guessing, as his was the correct answer. If he has nothing and offers it up for someone to post, or does not respond after a reasonable amount of time for sleeping/working, then someone can take it.

Lecture over. ;)
Anyhow, welcome to this thread, always great to get new perspectives. I would keep your image up for guessing until/unless Paul comes back with one to post. This is not a first for this thread and we are actually a fairly flexible bunch .

Good to know... :)

I'm quite sure I know what it is, but will withhold a guess as I have to take off for a few hours anyway. It is not actually a macro, right? :D

Sorry Paul007 and everyone for jumping the gun

It was shot with a macro lens but gives a little more perspective than a "standard" macro shot and thought it could keep a few people guessing. The idea behind the pic was to just see how much detail I could get out of the dash but then turned into a shot that blends in quite well with the background.

MRaiford wrote in post #2944773 (external link)
I dunno about that, but its a cool shot none-the-less...

Thanks

sblais wrote in post #2944933 (external link)
I'd say the dash or the backseat of a car. You can even see a sticker on the windshield/window.

Correct, its the dashboard of a car. The sticker on the window is a bit of a give away

Thanks BearLeeAlive
Wow I guessed one right, problem is I don't have a shot to hand, please continue.. folks
Paul

Once again, sorry about that Paul007

;) Hey, don't worry about it, I'll get a turn in the future, just got my Macro last week and I'm really busy at the moment, as they say "there'll be other times"

Now lets keep this thread going

sblais got the last one, but it's currently 3:30 a.m. in Ottawa so we have a little wait ahead of us. Would you like a chair leg to gnaw on?

Well unfortunately I am at work at the moment (which is not photography  ) and don't have any pictures with me so I'll only be able to post tomorrow. Its 14:00 now so the earliest I can have it up by is 09:00 tomorrow... to keep the thread going I'd say go ahead and post one if you have it ready, if nothing has been posted by tomorrow then I'll put mine up

It looked almost like some weird kind of landscape picture .... My guess would have been one of those paper egg cartons... and I would have been wrong! :)

LOL, my supply of chair legs from Mike Bell ran out and he hasn't been around for quite a while.

I had used a close-up on ginger a few months back so I too recognized it right away, but our friend frame had already figured it out.
