Looks like some sort of lens mount.

I'd guess an extension tube for Canon EOS, but I can't remember exactly how the pins looked.

Close enough for me - it's the contacts inside one of my Jessops extension tubes. I thought it would go quickly as this is a macro guessing game!

I think you're right. My Kenko tubes just arrived, and that's the correct pattern. Mine don't have those screws though, so it isn't a Kenko tube.

Edit: A little slow on the keyboard here...
