I'm just getting back into photography, with a new 50D and 400 5.6 to play with. I live in Battle Ground, and can't wait for sunny weather and a break in work to line up so that I can hit Ridgefield! I fish because that's what the voices in my head tell me to do.

Feb 01, 2010 13:17 | #10 Reflections i'm new to this myself, got my first camera just over a year ago. I've found by just shooting often my learning curve is continuously steep, rewarding and surprising. In one year gone from automatic using program mode, to full manual and really knowing my 50d controls. So I'm still a novice, happy with this amazing learning curve I'm experiencing. Still In a couple of years i imagine i'll start looking for professional advice though workshops etc. Good luck to you, but dont wait for sunny weather, get out now! 5d2, 17-40 L , 24-105 L , 70-200mm f/4L
