Nah, very gracious and pandering. He admonished the hockey guy for not knowing how to pander to the crowd.

The funniest bit was the video he showed of "Better Know a Riding" where he interviews an East Indian MP and gets on him about "what caste he is". Oh yea and when he thanked Vancouver for building the two giant balls in his honor (Science World and the First Nations Pavilion).

Nope, I work at the IBC...and sadly no more close access.

Wandered around the Robson Square area after work today, but left my camera at work as I wanted to explore rather than take photos. There were many many photos being taken though...I think I've only seen more dslrs in Times Square, NY!

I'm headed to lc yaletown. Call if you still have my number.

Dammit, my iTouch battery died soon after I posted that. Did you end up going? How was it?:)

Are you heading this way again tomorrow? I'll probably be out with my cam most of the day.

I walked past. Looked like it was a good place to hang though.

You're paying for it; you might as well come and see it. Oh wait, you didn't get your personal invitation to all the awesome VIP events? OK, wait in line a few hours for a $9 beer in a plastic cup, enjoy!

I paid $8.00 for a donair and $3.50 for a coke in Richmond. That beer at least would have given me a buzz. :)

I just found this thread. Really great shots. I wish I could have been there, and continue to be amazed how beautiful it is in Vancouver.
