Friend's been bugging me to take pictures of his car when he got new wheels.

Camera: Canon EOS 50D
Lenses: Canon EF-S 17-85mm, EF-S 50mm, EF-S 10-22mm

Thanks! I'll definitely read through that.

This was my first time shooting a black car in daylight. Definitely a challenge with reflections for me that day.

I went back and took a look. I think it may be my pp. I didn't use any of the sharpening adjustments in Adobe CS4 RAW in the ones posted above.

BEFORE:

The edit looks OK, but you still have a halo around the bumper.

At the same time, I don't want to over-sharpen. Any tips?

See the "Sticky"s in Raw & PP, & keep in mind that there's no "rule" that everything in the image has to be sharpened the same amount?

Cool, thanks for the tips and links!

Yeah, on that last rendition I only sharpened the headlights, foglights, wheels, and asphalt.

Looks like I will have to burn that area around the bumper.

tried to play a bit with some lens correction...but then i went overboard :D and forgot to take out the chromatic aberation :p
