Friend's been bugging me to take pictures of his car when he got new wheels.

Camera: Canon EOS 50D
Lenses: Canon EF-S 17-85mm, EF-S 50mm, EF-S 10-22mm

Agree... but if I had to choose I would lean towards #4. Great job!

i like but they seem soft to me...

Nice shots. Have you thought of using a CPL to get rid of the reflections?

Thanks! I'll definitely read through that.

This was my first time shooting a black car in daylight. Definitely a challenge with reflections for me that day.

I went back and took a look. I think it may be my pp. I didn't use any of the sharpening adjustments in Adobe CS4 RAW in the ones posted above.

The edit looks OK, but you still have a halo around the bumper.

See the "Sticky"s in Raw & PP, & keep in mind that there's no "rule" that everything in the image has to be sharpened the same amount?

Yeah, on that last rendition I only sharpened the headlights, foglights, wheels, and asphalt.

Looks like I will have to burn that area around the bumper.

tried to play a bit with some lens correction...but then i went overboard and forgot to take out the chromatic aberation
