NBA: Thunder vs Nuggets

So I got my first big white lens and had to take it out to shoot some of the game. My seats were 5 rows up behind the home goal, peoples heads were always in my way.

All shot in Av @ 1600 ISO on my 20D w/ Canon 70-200 2.8L (non IS) shutter speed was around 600-1000. there is zero post processing on them - no nothing other than re-sized for the forum

they're a bit grainy due to the 1600 ISO but anything lower would not produce a high enough SS.

Now for the good stuff:

I didn't get to see the rest of that game. The Thunder was looking good before the mid point. Who won?

Oh well, maybe next time. The Nuggets looked tired. They need Melo to come back soon. Chauncey just doesn't have enough left to be The guy every night.

Maybe you should have locked it all down in manual mode. Set your SS and Ap, then you probably could have dropped the ISO a bit. In a stadium setting you really need to shoot in manual mode. Av will be all over the place.

i'll give that a go tonight at the game.
